Santiago Uribe’s work is shaped by the intersection and dialogue between the three disciplines he practices: graphic design, music, and visual arts. Born in 1992, Santiago grew up in the city of Piriápolis and then moved in to Montevideo to pursue his university studies in Visual Communication Design at the University of Architecture, Design and Urbanism between 2011 and 2014.

Since 2014 he has worked as a graphic designer and at the same time carries out several musical projects: Montevideo Electric Recordings (record label), Forma y Contenido (record label), Sindicato de Obreros y Empleados de la Noche (record series) and is part of the artistic crew of Phonotheque (main electronic music club in Montevideo).

Over the last decade, he has released more than 20 vinyl records, including singles, EPs, and LPs, on different record labels in Uruguay and abroad. This has led him to go on several European tours and perform across South America.

Santiago lives and works in Montevideo.
