With multiple decades of influence behind him, Berlin-based Deset founder Caruan carries the true essence of an artist. Since the nineties, his eclectic taste and broad musical range have helped him build a solid reputation for genre-blending DJ sets, an extensive and rare vinyl collection, and a remarkable catalogue of releases infused with textures that move between jazz, techno and house to create both dynamic dancefloor atmospheres and immersive listening experiences.
His sound can navigate through electro, new wave and IDM into deep house, garage and techno, always keeping listeners in a state of anticipation. Caruan consistently challenges himself artistically, refusing to follow trends and continuing to evolve as he reaches a new creative peak. In recent years he has performed at venues and festivals such as Club Space Miami, Flash Washington, Amnesia Ibiza, Dimensions Festival, as well as maintaining regular residencies at Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse in Berlin.
A defining moment in his career came with “Diaframma”, released on the legendary Perlon label, where Caruan fully showcased his transcendent sound. Alongside a series of forthcoming releases on respected imprints, he continues to expand his sonic universe and upward trajectory.
